Forum!?
I was thinking about adding a Forum to my blog, but have questions on how it would work. I would like it to directly link this blog and be some what easy to use. In browsing the inter web for such free forum hosting sites I seem to have come up short. I was hoping that someone out there in the Blogger community might be able to help me out. I would like to keep it free since my blogging does not bring in revenue and it's something I do in my spare time, as of right now anyways. If you can think of any thing send me an email to lightsonanemptystreet@gmail.com or leave a comment. Thanks!

Free iTunes Download's of the Week
1st Free Song
Love is Dead by The Lovemakers
Genre: Pop/Rock
This song is not to bad. Sounds a bit familiar, like a song you have heard before but can't quite figure out where. Does not blow your socks off, but does not waste valuable space on your HDD either.
2nd Free Song
Even If IT Breaks Your Heart by Will Hoge
Genre: Rock
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible! I hated this song! I think they put it in the wrong genre, It sounded country to me and anyone who has read my previous posts on country knows that, I hate country music! This song sounds just like everything else I have ever heard, there is no originality. His voice reminds me of Tom Petty mixed with Billy Ray Cyrus...Believe me, It's a strange mix. Someone left the comment on iTunes that this song "is America's Music". If that's the case then it really is a sad state of things over here in the great US of A...Yee Haw, Partna! Hey everyone is entitled to listen to whatever type of music they want, But to label this song as 'America's Music' leaves a lot of people out, including me! In my opinion Punk Rock is America's Music...Wasn't this country formed on the ideals of rebels. Those who opposed the kings Ideas and wanted freedom...Anarchy! Well anyways don't waste the space on your HDD.

New Michael Moore Movie
There is a new Michael Moore movie coming out that looks pretty good. I think I'll have to check it out when it's released.
Documentary Night
A group of friends and myself got together a few weeks ago to have a 'Documentary Night'. The Basic Premise of 'Documentary Night' is as you probably guessed to watch Documentaries. We started off by watching 'Why We Fight', which had come highly recommended by a few friends of ours. This movie really lived up to it's expectations and by the end I don't think there was a totally dry eye in the room. It was very moving movie but at the same time it was completely depressing.
To lighten the mood a bit, for the second documentary we watched a movie called 'King of Kong: Fist Full of Quarters'. This movie was about the guy who tried to take down the world record holder on 'Donkey Kong'. This was really such a great movie and we all really enjoyed it. It had the perfect mix of being comical, sad and serious, it also had a way of drawing you into the main characters and feeling like you knew them personally.
All in all, I would recommend both Documentaries. Though both are vastly different both are enjoyable in their own ways.

Free iTunes Download's of the Week
Only one free song this week, I guess apple must be having trouble paying the bills so they have been cheaping out on us.
The One by Slaughterhouse
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
It's rap, I'm not sure what else to say. It had a catchy beat but then when I heard the chorus about Sex, drugs and Dirty money it remind me that pretty much all rap is the same. The song maybe called 'The One' but this one is not for me.
