Free iTunes Download's of the Week

The Downloads this week all come from the Pop Genre :(

Make Me Believe By, Angel Taylor

This song was okay for a pop song and I could see it being very, very popular. She has a pleasant sounding voice and the tune is catchy but, it's just not my cup of tea.

Love Struck By, V Factory

Oh man, I thought the Boy band craze was all over. Look out world here comes another crappy one. V Factory is another group of boy toys singing crappy music to catchy beats. I seriously hope this does not catch on and we have a resurgence of terrible music. This song gets two thumbs way down, I mean way down. Okay, my thumbs can't get any further down, if my thumbs were further down they would be up in Japan. DO NOT download this song, free does not matter, this is national security we are talking about here. The world can take another boy band!

Free iTunes Download of the Week

This week there were two free songs you could Download

All my life in the Ghetto by Jay Rock...

One Day by The Juan Maclean...

They were both OK. The Jay rock song is Rap which is not really my genre of choice, but it was clean and seemed not bad for rap. The Juan Maclean song is Electronica which I tend to like. I would say the Juan MacLean song is a download if you like to dance to Electronica/Techno. If you are a huge Rap fan I would go ahead and get the Jay Rock song too, but I'm not going to.

The Results For March 20th

Hey everyone, its results time. I was wondering how this one would play out and to tell you the truth I was pleasantly surprised. I got pretty good response still I didn't get 100%.

I thought this question was deeper then meets the eye. I'm not sure how everyone interpreted it but, The question was what food could you eat for the rest of your life, not what is your favorite food. To me its more of a question of what can you stand for the long term without getting sick of. Take myself for example, my favorite food is Stuffed Peppers but, I can't eat it every day. After the first meal of stuffed peppers and the following left over meal I'm done with the dish until the next time which is usually a monthly occurrence. Obviously I didn't pick stuffed peppers as my meal I could eat everyday. With that, here are the results...

We had one really big winner and it would be considered breakfast food

English Fry Up:
Kyle Peter's pick, I'm told it's the English version of Bacon and Eggs.

Lumberjack Breakfast at Cracker Barrel:
Kevin Zeal's pick, I'm a big fan of the Cracker Barrel too, In fact I'm going there tomorrow for breakfast.

Bacon and Eggs:
Jackie Parent's pick, Nothing beats a good cooled breakfast.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaK9bjLy3v4

Pancakes:
Justin's pick, you can't eat cake in the morning but, if you flatten it and put maple syrup on it, it's okay. It's okay in my book to JP.

Waffles and Blueberries with whipped Cream:
Corina's pick, sounds like another dessert to me but, that's okay its part of a nutritious full balanced breakfast.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz1cfwFmv1w

Now for some repeats...

Peanut Butter and Jelly (PB&J):
Jacob Hemond and Jason Whartenby, Its peanut butter jelly time! Peanut Butter Jelly time! where you at? where you at? where you at? there ya go! there ya go! there ya go!
If you don't get it check out the link.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVr8GEn5yJA

Mac and Cheese:
Josiah Hemond and Myself, we have the blue box blues.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnlW1fSXZZM

These 2 are close...

Sushi:
Wendy's Pick...

Holy Maguro (Sushi):
Ryan Lyford's pick, I guess they like there food not quite dead yet.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGFXGwHsD_A

Others...

Chicken Soup:
Rabecca Hemond's pick, I do not agree!

Hot Dogs:
My Dad's pick, funny he can't figure out the cholesteral problem!?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V-2NKUlzns

Burger and Fries:
Eric Stelmach's pick, he is a true american.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OjPb3WKDx0

Fried Tacos:
Aaron Dallman's pick, the only way to make tacos worse for you is to fry em up.

Spam and Rice:
Jess Barb's pick, I guess she is hawaian, who knew.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjqZ0aIAgFM

Lunch:
Beth's pick, not sure she got the question.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dWSDCjlaoc

Lasagna:
Corie Lyford's pick, I can't even joke, this is a good pick.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFGxcbrJpLI

The more specific...

Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Veggies:
Kasey Hemond's pick, omnivore I suppose.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eLw3xZ7GHs

Taco Bell #6:
Jared Dallman's pick, he must want to die.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CklS8s0moVw

Soup, Salad and Breadsticks:
Joe Lindey's pick, i'm surprised my wife didn't say the same.

Guacomole and refried bean salad with salsa, sourcream and fresh corn chips:
Jenn Page's pick, like she knew the question was coming or something.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK84Ipm1zlE

"Question of the Week" Results

I thought this was a fun question. I know the last two weeks focused on our childhood, but I know speaking for myself personally remembers your childhood brings back memories.

I found it interesting that we didn't have that many repeats this week, in fact only two people had the same exact answer and two people had similar answers. So with anymore of my rambling, here are the results.

Veterinarian:
We had 2 people who want to be Vets, Jason Wartenby and Jackie Parent.

Art Teacher:
Corie Lyford wanted to be an Art Teacher and I would say she is one of the only who was able to become what she wanted, Garts Corie!!

Teacher:
Becky wanted to be a teacher, she chose sales instead.

Stunt Man:
My father had aspirations of being in the movies and he got close to his dream. Before I was born he application was accepted at Kahana School of Stunts in Chatsworth California, he went out there for a while, but at the time was dating my mother. He made the hard choice and came back to New Hampshire because he missed my mother, and gave up his dream. I guess its a good thing because if he didn't, I probably would not be here today.

Beach Bum:
Big surprise that this is what Eric Caron picked, I think he has come pretty close.

Horse Trainer:
No Janice didn't pick this one, actually Jen Page did!?

Game Warden:
I wanted to be a game warden so bad when I was little and after watching Jurassic Park it only made it worse. One day I was told that Game Wardens had the right to shot to kill poachers and I ruined the dream for me.

Hair Dresser:
You would think this would have been Jo Jo, but actually it was my sister Kasey, who would have known...I didn't!

Motor Cross Racer:
Not much of a surprise here that Zach Bishop picked this.

Pilot:
Another one that's not a surprise is Kyle Peters picking Pilot.

Carpenter:
Ryan Lyford lived out his dream, he didn't set his bar too high though.

Crane Operator:
I guess Eric Lindsey never saw Dominican in his future.

Retried:
Even at a young age Mark Page hated work.

Marine Biologist:
Not only did George Costanza want to be a Marine Biologist but, so didn't Wendy.

Short Stop (for the Red Sox):
Big surprise Jacob Hemond

Chef:
I never knew Corina could cook, I think I'll hang around her parties more often now.

Architect:
You would have thought musician for Joe Lindsey but, I guess he had other ideas.

Firefighter:
"Come on baby lite my Fire" and apparently Josiah Hemond will put it out.

Lawyer:
Kevin Zeal wants to be a liar, I mean Lawyer.

Computer programmer:
He lived his dream and hated it, Matt Gifford programmed for 2 years before he quit.

Rock Star:
I can actually see Jo Jo being a Rock Star.

Our last three are a little different

Stevie Ray Vaughn:
Aaron Dallam wanted to be SRV, I guess its better then the Joker.

Indian Jones:
Justin Peebles must hate Nazis too.

And last but not least

Happy:
Matt Nolte wants to be Happy, I hope he is!

Thank you to everyone who got their votes in, I already have next Friday's question figured out I will see you all then....

American Idol

I'm not sure how many people who visit here are American Idol fans, but I'm just so happy that they eliminated Tatiana. That girl was the most annoying human being I have ever seen, they should have kept the bikini girl instead.

Rock Band Downloads of the Week

Every Tuesday Rock Band releases a few songs for Download. Each week I will try to go over the releases and tell you which ones in my opinion you should download. This week there are 4 you can download.

The Offspring- All I want
The Offspring- The Kids Aren't Right
REM- Losing my Religion
Richard Thompson- The Way that it Shows

All the songs are good but, I think REM is the top choice out of these, if your a Offspring fan the 2 songs that came out from them are great. Not sure I would download the Richard Thompson one thought, its slow sort of dreary and boring.

In short you can't lose with REM, if you like The Offspring, then you can't lose with those songs either and if your really love Richard Thompson then pick his up to, But I wouldn't.

iTunes Free song's of the Week

Well its time for the iTunes Free songs of the week. Once a week on Tuesday's iTunes puts out some Free entertainment for Download. Usually a few songs, some movie clips and TV shows. Once a week I will listen to the songs and let you know whether I feel they are good enough to Download or whether they would just be a waste of Hard Drive space. This week there were 2 songs...

The first was Demon eyes by The Answer, In my opinion this song was terrible. From the name of the song to the lame vocals and lyrics, this song just stunk. It was so terrible the Government should use it in interogations instead of water boarding.

The second one was Losing Home by Shawn Smith. I liked this song, it wasn't one of those blow your socks of tunes, but I would say it was worth the Free download. It has a nice feel to it, the vocals are plesent and the sound is familiar. Its catchy and fun with the feel of Ben Harper mixed with Dan Wilson.

In all last weeks song by Carolina Liar was better then both of these but if you were going to download one I would say Shawn Smith is a safe bet.

Downloads of the week

I just decided to add a new aspect to the blog. Every Tuesday iTunes releases a few Free songs that you can download, also every Tuesday Rock Band releases their new down loadable content. So on Tuesday's or Wednesday's which ever day I can fit it in I will go over the both of those each week. I'll let you know whether I think its worth it to take the time to Download the free music or spend the Microsoft points to download the new Rock Band songs.

iTunes Free Download of the Week

This weeks Free iTunes song of the week is Carolina Liar's, Show me what I'm Looking for. I recommend Downloading it, its a great song and heck it Free what do you have to lose.

I guess it's Back

Since yesterday (which was a rough day for me) I have got many texts and emails asking me not to stop the "Question of the Week". I have decided that I will keep it going, those who don't like it, I will just not send the question. Those who feel it is not christian can go talk to the elders about it, just know that I already did and was told that many Circuit Overseer's use blogs as a method of keeping in touch with each other. I guess in total I should not stop doing something that I and other like because of a few Jerks.

Wasting Time

Sorry for wasting everyone's time...

Negative Response

I'm getting a bit of Negative response, so I'm contemplating stopping the "Question of the Week". So far I have had people tell me that its stupid and that blogging is not Christian. Sorry to everyone who had fun with it but, until further notice there will be no more "Question of the Week". I also learned through this process who a lot about my "friends". It's incredible to me how much of a big deal 2 harmless questions like "your favorite Album" and "Favorite Disney movie" is to some people.

Results for "Favorite Disney, Animated Movie"

Hi Everyone, sorry I didn't get the results up last night, I just didn't get the chance. I thought this was a really fun one, I know some other people disagree with me and I could tell by their negative answers but, I thought it was a great one. Everyone from all generation grows up watching Disney movies, whether its movies like Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella to new generations watching Wall-E or Cars, Disney has a way of reaching young peoples minds and influencing youths imaginations. I know personally, as a youth especially having a younger sister, I was always watching these movies, and it really instills in you a sense of hope and good and evil. The good guys always win and the bad guys always loose, it unfortunate that when you grow up and see the world for what it really is, you find it is quite the opposite. You see dirty politicians, and criminals getting away with crimes and often times it makes you wish you could hop right back into a Disney movie and forget reality. Well that's all my crazy rambling lets get to the results.

Well It was actually pretty close, but their was a definite First place and Second place

Zach Bishop

Kevin Zeal

Cinderella

Voters were:

The Rescuers Down Under

The voter was:

The voter was:

and last but not least

So that was it, I want to thank everyone who answered. I think this one was a lot of fun. It got to bring us back to our childhood a bit and remember some great movies.

You will hear from me again next Friday, but until then...
